The World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) is the United Nations agency responsible for the promotion of responsible, sustainable and universally accessible tourism. UNWTO advocates for tourism in the global agenda as a driver of socio-economic growth, inclusive development and environmental sustainability and offers leadership and support to the sector in advancing knowledge and tourism policies worldwide.
Led by Secretary General, Zurab Pololikashvili, UNWTO has widened its scope of work, including innovation, digital transformation, investment and online education.
