As part of the tour of the Romanian writer Mircea Cărtărescu in Spain for the presentation of his new novel, Theodoros, tomorrow Wednesday at 7 pm the Instituto Cultural Rumano presents in the bookstore Rafael Alberti (calle del Tutor, 57) An event in which the writer will be present, together with the translator, Marian Ochoa de Eribe, and with Toni Iturbe, journalist, writer and professor at the Autonomous University of Madrid.
Also, next Monday, November 11 at 7 pm, in the Simón Bolívar Room of Casa de América, a dialogue between Mircea Cărtărescu and the Mexican writer Jorge Volpi will be held, as part of the Eñe Festival.

Mircea Cărtărescu is one of the most appreciated and well-known Romanian authors in the Iberian peninsula, he returns to Madrid to be the protagonist of the autumn literary season with his novel Theodoros, a real «literary feast». You will also be invited to the Eñe Literature Festival, an annual literary event that transforms the capital of Spain into a hub of creativity and passion for literature, bringing together more than 100 writers and editors from the most important cultural institutions. The journey of the novel Theodoros, whose character is «a Don Quixote» raised with oriental stories, will begin and end in Madrid, passing through Salamanca, Santiago de Compostela and A Coruña, absolutely wonderful cities, full of history, culture and charm.
