On 8 October at 7 pm, as part of the cultural programme of the exhibition The Berlin Wall. World Divided, the principal investigator for Russia, Eurasia and the Balkans of the Real Instituto Elcano, Mira Milosevic (in the photo), will give a conference at the Fundación Canal (Mateo Inurria street, 2) where she will analyse the context, impact and consequences of the construction and fall of the Berlin Wall in Eastern Europe.
Coinciding with the 35th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, the public can visit in Sala Castellana 214 of the Fundación Canal The Berlin Wall. A divided world, created by Musealia, the first major travelling exhibition on this fundamental period of history and which will remain in the capital until next 12 January 2025.
In the exhibition, organized by a team of curators led by Dr. Gerhard Sälter, head of research and documentation at the Berlin Wall Foundation; and Dr. Christian Ostermann, Director of the Wilson Center’s History and Public Policy Program and International Cold War Project, Musealia applies its creative vision, narrative, careful museography and the inclusion of key elements such as audio guides.
