On September 10th, the Fundación Scherzo will begin the 30th season of the Ciclo de Grandes Intérpretes (Great Performers Series) and season tickets and single tickets are already available to enjoy this series of unmissable concerts.
And the first date will host the virtuoso pianist Yulianna Avdeeva (in the photo ©Christine-Schneider), winner of the Frédéric Chopin International Piano Competition, at the Symphonic Hall of the Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid, with a concert entitled The Mysteries of Liszt, who will immerse the listener in the great romantic pianism with a programme dedicated to Chopin and Liszt. A pianist of ardent temperament and virtuosity, Avdeeva plays with strength, conviction and sensitivity, and has won over audiences all over the world.
The Fundación Scherzo also announces a special concert to celebrate its anniversary on 12 November with the famous pianist Alexandre Kantorow, an exclusive and free concert for subscribers, in which the great French pianist will give a recital in the Chamber Hall of the Auditorio Nacional with works by Liszt, Rachmaninov, Bartók and Bach.
