The Official State Gazette published yesterday the dismissal of Fernando Curcio Ruigómez as ambassador in Special Mission for Peacekeeping Operations, a position that he held since September 2022.
Curcio’s dismissal occurs because on August 1, the diplomat will join the Spanish Embassy in Tokyo, as Counselor of Cultural Affairs.
In addition, the Official State Gazette published yesterday the dismissal of Juan José Herrera de la Muela as ambassador in Special Mission for Public and Global Affairs, a position for which he was appointed in March 2022. Herrera de la Muela will join. Likewise, on August 1, he will move to his new position as Minister of Cultural Affairs at the Spanish Embassy in Beijing.
