Telefónica’s programme Open Future closed 2015 with presence in 17 countries after investing in more than 600 startups, according to data provided by the company. The number almost doubles that of this type of small or medium enterprises, with innovative business ideas, included in the programme a year and a half ago, which were 315.
These data turn Telefónica into one of “Spain’s most relevant” corporate investors in open innovation and investment in risk capital and into one of the most important at the European level. Open Future has also helped to speed up 850 business projects and has more than 85 public and private partners.
