Car and off-road vehicle registrations rose by 20,9 percent more in 2015, than the previous year, reaching a total of 1.034.232, according to the figures issued yesterday by Anfac, the Manufacturers Association, Faconauto, the Association of Concessionaires and the Sellers Association Ganvam. It is the first time in six years that the numbers have broken through the barrier of one million vehicle registration, making the Spanish market the one showing most growth in Europe.
The sector’s vehicle associations have, therefore, seen their forecasts for the year that has just closed, fully justified and are anticipating a 2016 with a moderate growth reaching 1.100.000 vehicle registrations.
