The Spanish Government yesterday condemned “most vehemently” the cruel terrorist attack in Uagadugú, the capital of Burkina Faso, which caused the death of some thirty people and left many injured.
In a communique issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Government”expressed it condolences to the families of the victims and to the authorities and the people of Burkina Faso which is consolidating a praiseworthy political transition” in addition to other countries with victims. It added that Spain offers bilateral cooperation, and also to the recently formed G5 that includes Burkina Faso, Chad, Mali, Mauritania and Niger, and which is endeavouring to reinforce security and promote the development of the Sahel.
