Yesterday, the Government condemned the chain of attacks perpetrated in the centre of Jakarta, Indonesia’s capital, which claimed the lives of at least six people. It pointed out that this type of attacks “will not disturb the traditional spirit of coexistence” in the country. In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Executive sent its “condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims” and its solidarity with the authorities.
Besides, it offered them complete collaboration in the fight against terrorism, “a global threat that must be fought with all the instruments of the rule of law and with international cooperation”.
