The Minister of Foreign Affairs, José Manuel Albares, yesterday advocated taking advantage of the “tragic opportunity” that is the war in the Middle East to promote the two-state solution between Israelis and Palestinians.
During his speech on a panel on the future of Palestinian-Israeli relations at the Munich Security Conference, Albares highlighted that “several times throughout history, both Palestinians and Israelis have agreed on a solution.” of two States, its real implementation for a Palestinian State,” reports Efe.

“We all know what we need to have peace and security for Palestinians and Israelis. We take Israel’s security very seriously. When we call for a permanent ceasefire, for the immediate entry of humanitarian aid – which is absolutely necessary in Gaza given the catastrophic humanitarian situation – and when the immediate release of the Israeli hostages who remain in the hands of the armed wing of Hamas is urged, all this is for the benefit of both Israelis and Palestinians,” Albares added.
