The Chinese ambassador in Madrid, Yao Jing, will be one of the six new foreign ambassadors who will present Letters of Credence before the King this week.

The ceremony, which will take place, as is traditional in the Royal Palace, will be held on Wednesday, the 21st, and in it, the Monarch will receive the Credential Letters of the six new ambassadors, who have been waiting for some months to complete their accreditation in Spain.

The first to do so will be the ambassador of Mauritania, Zeineb Ely Salem, followed by that of Jordan, Raghed Basem Antone Al Saqqa. Next, the Chinese ambassador will do so, who arrived in Madrid in October and who these days accompanies the Minister of Foreign Affairs of his country on his visit to Spain, Wang Yi.

Subsequently, the ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Vesna Andree Zaimovic, and the ambassador of Cape Verde, Eduardo Jorge Lima Barros Silva, will present their Letters of Credence. Finally, the ambassador of Singapore, Jennie Chua, who does not reside in Spain and exercises her mission from her own country, will do so, after being appointed to the position in October 2020.
