The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, who today arrives in the Swiss town of Davos to participate in the World Economic Forum, plans to meet with executives from Cisco, Intel, Qualcomm and other technology companies.

In addition to speaking at the Forum tomorrow, Sánchez is going to develop a contact agenda in which he wants to give priority to economic issues and try to convince managers of large multinationals that Spain has great attractiveness as an investment destination.

Thus, according to sources from Moncloa, this afternoon, after his arrival in Davos, he will meet with the CEO of Cisco, Chuck Robbins, to follow up on some of the large technological and cybersecurity projects that the company has in the country.

At night, the President of the Government will attend a dinner reserved by Intel in which a small group of political leaders and multinationals will also be present. Afterwards, he will attend a reception and hold a bilateral meeting with the CEO of Qualcomm, the Brazilian Cristiano Amon.

Already on Wednesday morning, Sánchez has scheduled a meeting with the top executive of Siemens Energy, Gamesa’s parent company, Christian Bruch, and later another with the CEO of the pharmaceutical company Sanofi, Paul Hudson.

On the same day, he plans to meet with Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates and interview Google’s president of global affairs, Kent Walker. The Chief Executive’s agenda on that day is completed with attendance at a subsequent lunch organized by Google for around 90 people in which issues about technology and Artificial Intelligence will be addressed. Finally, regarding contacts with leaders of large technology companies, he will hold a meeting with the CEO of Fujitsu, Takahito Tokita.
