The Spanish pavilion at the Universal Exposition in Osaka in 2025 will have an investment of 26,400,000 euros, as agreed last Tuesday by the Government.
The Council of Ministers authorised the Sociedad Mercantil Estatal de Acción Cultural, S.A. (Seacsa), to sign the contract for the construction and management, production, supply, installation, technical operation, maintenance and dismantling of the Spanish Pavilion at Expo Osaka 2025, for the aforementioned amount.
ith this authorisation, the Government seeks to ensure the optimal presence and representation of Spain at the world exposition, providing a platform to showcase the country’s culture, innovation and progress to a global audience.
The Executive considers the construction and management of the Spanish Pavilion at Expo Osaka 2025 a unique opportunity to showcase Spain’s cultural, technological and economic contributions, as well as to promote international exchange and collaboration.
It also believes that its presence at the event represents a significant commitment to the development and projection of the country’s image internationally.
The World Expo in Osaka, Japan, will be held from 13 April to 13 October 2025 under the theme “Designing the society of the future for our lives”, and so far 159 countries have confirmed their presence.
