Fifty representatives of government and business organizations from more than twenty Ibero-American countries will meet in Medellín on December 11 and 12 to participate in the VI Ibero-American Forum on MSMEs, a space for real public-private dialogue, in which they will analyze the situation of small and medium-sized enterprises in the region, as well as their challenges and opportunities.
The forum is organized by the Ibero-American General Secretariat (SEGIB), the Ibero-American Business Council (CEIB) and the Colombian Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism through ProColombia, in collaboration with ANDI and the Medellin Chamber of Commerce.
As reported yesterday by the CEOE, more than 600 participants are expected to participate, in face-to-face and virtual format, who will discuss five thematic axes: public policies, digitalization, sustainability, agribusiness and internationalization.
The first day includes closed-door sessions in which authorities, MSMEs and leaders of Ibero-American business organizations will discuss priority issues for the future of these companies. On the 12th, policymakers on MSMEs from Ibero-American countries, researchers and academics, representatives of multilateral agencies and business organizations and companies in the region will participate in an open day in which a series of reports related to the topics discussed at the forum will be presented: gender equality, internationalization and digital transformation.
