The Government will spend a total of 22,693,728 euros on health care for public administration workers serving abroad.
The agreement was adopted yesterday at a meeting of the Council of Ministers and will also benefit those people who, for a period of time, are sent by the Administration on secondment from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Cervantes Institute to work in a country other than Spain.
The measure has been adopted, according to the Government, because the Administration lacks the necessary means to offer this health service.
The service will be awarded by means of an open tender procedure, for a renewable two-year period, for the 2024-2026 biennium.
