The Auditorium of the Centro Cultural de China in Madrid has selected three very interesting documentaries for the Spanish public on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative.
The thematic screening of the China Documentary Festival-International Screening “The Belt and Road”, jointly organised by the China Media Group (CMG), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, was officially opened on 20 February.
More than 60 original documentaries and feature-length films in English, Spanish, French, Arabic and Russian from CMG’s CGTN will be broadcast through hundreds of media outlets around the world and in Chinese cultural centres abroad, presenting a panoramic view of the stories of the development of connectivity and friendly exchanges among the participating countries of the Belt and Road.
In June 2022, CMG launched the International Screening of the first China Documentary Film Festival with more than 50 multilingual documentaries for 128 foreign media and institutions from more than 60 countries and regions across five continents. This year, the China Documentary Festival-International Screening “The Belt and Road” will run until the end of the year.
The three documentaries, which will be screened at 18.30, are: Gifts of Nature (tomorrow, Tuesday, 3 October); Moving Towards Sustainable Development (Wednesday, 4 October); China’s Aspirations I (Thursday, 5 October), and China’s Aspirations II (Friday, 6 October). All these films have been dubbed into Spanish.
