This evening at 6 p.m., the Centro Sefarad-Israel presents the book Ukraína, by Concha Pérez Rojas, a graduate in Journalism, in which she narrates the history of the Shoah in Ukraine.
Ukraína is a journey through the places of the Holocaust in Ukraine, which reflects on the conflicts that have taken place, and continue to take place, in the West. It is made up of 56 personal stories, which poetically recount episodes experienced by many people during the Shoah. It weaves together stories that appeal to personal and collective memory, as it highlights a Europe that has been and continues to be the scene of various conflicts.
The book will be presented by its author, Concha Pérez Rojas, and José Manuel Abad Liñán, a journalist from El País. In addition, there will be a performance by the musicians Moncho Otero and Rafa Mora. Free entry until full capacity is reached.
