Music, dance, choreographic workshops, conferences, exhibitions, concerts and shows close the month of August in Asturias with the Festival Iberoamericano Ribadedeva En Danza, which will be held from 20 August to 3 September in the town of Ribadedeva.
An Encounter With The Maestros José Galan, Patricia Guerrero, Maribel Gallardo and Manuel Segovia and the musical directors Pedro García-Casarrubios and Miguel Ángel Perez, who will delve into Spanish dance, flamenco and American music in a journey through the time of Spanish emigration to the American continent which meant a geographical and cultural confluence between Spain and America.
Companies, artists and other invited scholars such as Ibérica de Danza, Ángel Rojas Dance Project, the Fritsch Company (Maite León Psicoballet Company), the artist and repetitive teacher of the Spanish National Ballet Maribel Gallardo, the tenor baritone Mario Millan, the pianist Luis Noain, the Asturian musician and traditional dancer Santi Galguera, the Choir of Ribadedeva, the president of the Association of Dance Professionals of Asturias, Elisa Novo, the journalist and researcher from Seville Marta Carrasco and the Asturian journalist and dance critic Yolanda Vázquez will share pedagogy, art and culture together with the creativity and innovation of more than thirty young people, an example of the new generations of musicians and dancers who will pass through the Asturian council of Ribadedeva.
