On the occasion of Spain’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the Ministry of the Presidency, together with El Grand Continent and the Círculo de Bellas Artes Casa Europa, is organising the We, the European Women cycle from 6 to 26 September, a monographic event which complements the experience of the exhibition of the same name with round tables, cycles or alternative activities to the ‘official’ round tables which will be held in Barcelona, as part of the Grec Festival, and in Madrid at the headquarters of the Fundación Diario Madrid and the Fundación Carlos Amberes.
The round tables will all begin at 7 p.m. and will be as follows:
– The Power of Women. Towards a Feminist Genealogy of the Union. Wednesday 6 September. Ramón Gómez de la Serna Hall.
– The Feminist Gaze and European Memory. Wednesday 13 September. Sala de Juntas.
– We Europeans: Institutional Europe. Wednesday 20 September. Ramón Gómez de la Serna Hall.
– We European Women: Social Europe. Tuesday 26 September. María Zambrano Hall.
