The Diplomat
The Royal Corps of the Nobility of the Principality of Asturias held its traditional summer lunch last Friday, which had as its guest of honour the Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Madrid, Ivan Jancarek, who will finish his mandate in Spain in August.
The Corporation’s Master Councillor, Francisco de Borbón, Duke of Seville, accompanied by the Councillor for Institutional Relations, Alfredo Leonard, presented the Ambassador with a copy of the 1930 Spanish edition of the book “The Diplomatic Origins of the Czechoslovak State” by Vlastimil Kybal, as a souvenir of his stay in Spain.
For his part, Ivan Jancarek expressed his gratitude for the distinction and the support received during his stay in Spain.
The ceremony was attended by a hundred guests, including the ambassadors of the Netherlands, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Nicaragua, Malta, Slovenia, Switzerland and the Dominican Republic, Morocco and Croatia, along with other members of the nobility and civil society, such as the Vox deputy Iván Espinosa de los Monteros, and the director of the BOE, Daniel San Martín.
After the speeches, a toast was made to the King’s health and to Spain.
