The Diplomat
Thailand’s new ambassador to Spain, Vosita Vorasaph, has recently taken up his post, filling the vacancy left by the previous head of the diplomatic representation, Phantipha Ekarohit, after she was appointed deputy permanent secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of her country at the end of December.
Vosita Vorasaph, who was posted as Thailand’s ambassador to Nepal, has already begun his activity in our country, and one of his first meetings has been with the president of CEOE International, Marta Blanco.
The new ambassador came to the CEOE headquarters last Thursday, accompanying a large institutional delegation from the National Defence College of Thailand, led by Lieutenant General Kitti Kongsombat.
At the meeting, as reported by CEOE, it became clear that there is much room for improvement and growth in trade and investment relations between Spain and Thailand. Marta Blanco and the ambassador agreed on the need to join forces to promote greater awareness of the business opportunities and synergies that Spain and Thailand offer our companies.
All the speakers at the meeting stressed the importance of strengthening public-private collaboration, especially when it comes to promoting the internationalisation of companies.
