As part of the International Festival of Sacred Art (FIAS), the Instituto Francés of Madrid presents a concert by the artist Sophia Djebel Rose tomorrow Tuesday at 8 pm.
Sophia Djebel Rose, an unclassifiable artist, transports us to the mountains of Auvergne (France) with her aerial and spiritual music. From Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, this singer produces music with a poetic character, ranging from the most luminous to the darkest path, which is trembling, resulting in a kind of psychedelic journey with echoes of other great artists such as Nico or Linda Perhacs. Her voice, stentorian and mysterious, travels back to the past, to the golden age of gothic art, resulting in a series of songs that are like psalms, singular pieces of goldsmithing impregnated with conceptual mysticism that invites us to contemplative life.
