The event will be broadcast live on Casa Árabe’s YouTube channel in Spanish only.
Conceived by the Maison de l’Artisan, in collaboration with Casa Árabe and the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco, the exhibition Mano sobre mano. Crafts and design in Morocco brings together historical objects from private collections, contemporary crafts, and finally, art and design projects inspired by the forms and materials of handicraft creation.
Los colores culturales de Marruecos (The cultural colours of Morocco) is the result of research carried out by the cultural company Innovarte into the historical origin and use of colours in Morocco. It deals with the extraction, presence or application of colour in the country’s landscapes, architecture and handicrafts. The exhibition panels combine text and image to document the extraction, presence or application of colour in the country’s landscapes, architecture or handicrafts.
