Spanish National Police intercepted yesterday three suspicious envelopes, addressed to the Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid and its consulates in Barcelona and Malaga, according to police sources. The shipments, which were detected by Correos security systems, did not contain explosives but animal eyes.
Last week several envelopes were intercepted, up to a total of 21, with animal eyes addressed to the Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid and to several of its consulates in Spain and in 11 other countries.
