The Diplomat
King Philip VI traveled yesterday to Washington, where he held a meeting with the Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Kristalina Georgieva.
The Monarch, who traveled accompanied by the First Vice President of the Government and Minister of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, Nadia Calviño, was received by the Alternate Executive Director for Spain on the IMF Executive Board, Pablo de Ramón-Laca, and held a meeting with Spanish employees of the IMF.
Later, the King attended the centennial celebration of the Masters of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) Program, which Mr. Philip attended in 1995. The Masters of Science in Foreign Service is the oldest professional master’s degree at Georgetown University’s Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service. Its goal is to prepare men and women to be creative leaders in the public, private and non-profit sectors of international relations.
