Coinciding with the pro tempore presidency of the Dominican Republic of the Central American Integration System (SICA), the Fundación Carlos de Amberes, in collaboration with the Embassy of the Caribbean country, is organising the debate Central America and the Dominican Republic in their relationship with the EU: a space of possibilities and challenges, which will take place this morning at 11 a.m. in the auditorium of the foundation (Calle Claudio Coello, 99). Attendance will be free and open until full capacity is reached, with no need to register.
Juan Bolívar Díaz, Ambassador of the Dominican Republic, and Daniel de Busturia, Secretary of the Board of Trustees of the Fundación Carlos de Amberes, will welcome the audience. Carlos Malamud, academic and researcher at the Real Instituto Elcano; Enrique Yturriaga Saldanha, Director for Latin America and the Caribbean and Spanish in the World; Olga del Pino Escobar, Senior Advisor, Spain SICA Fund (Virtual Participation), and María Aurora Mejía Errasquín, Director of the Coordination Office for the Spanish Presidency of the EU, will take part in the debate. The event will be moderated by Aurea Moltó, Director of Revista Política Exterior.
