On the occasion of the 500th anniversary of Raffaello’s death, the Instituto Italiano de Cultura in Madrid presents the exhibition Magister Raffaello, where it will remain from today until 15 January 2023.
Magister Raffaello is presented to the public as an unprecedented narration of experiences around six key works by the great Renaissance artist, in what is his eleventh period around the world.
Inside the six spaces into which it is divided, visitors will have the opportunity to retrace the history and places in which Raffaello lived and worked and to get to know “his world” through the master’s works, as well as those of the artists, writers and philosophers who interacted with his work: actors and extras who populate an ideal theatrical stage transfigured in the exhibition. The contents of the exhibition are available in 3 languages (Italian, Spanish and English) and are arranged according to two different routes: one for adults and one for children. The visit can be made by audio guide or through a specific application that can be downloaded free of charge on your mobile phone.
