The Diplomat
Certeza Forum de Estudios Internacionales officially presented its new board of directors this week in Madrid, during an event attended by members of the organisation and different personalities from collaborating organisations.
Certeza Forum works in different fields, the most significant of which are International Relations, Geopolitics, Security and Defence, Institutional Communication, Diplomacy, Justice, Higher Education, Geostrategy, Crisis Management and Cybersecurity.
The president of Certeza Forum, Juan Suárez, explained to the attendees that, although it is clearly a Spanish organisation, its scope of action is international and it currently works from Madrid and the delegate offices in Latin America (Mexico City) and the Middle East (Erbil, Iraq). There are also plans to open new offices in other continents based on projects that are still in the development phase.
As its CEO, José Manuel Iglesias, explained, the entity has three management bodies: a Governing Council, which assumes the executive and operational functions; a Board of Honour, chaired by Ambassador George Massad; and a Board of Professors. Its members include diplomats, military personnel, academics, jurists and experts on the themes of each project.
During the presentation, the organisation’s current activities, which appear on its new website – www.certezaforum.org – and which include postgraduate university courses, thematic seminars and the organisation of major events, among others, were mentioned.
