Spain’s ambassador to the Holy See, Isabel Celáa, will have 98,000 euros to improve the electrical installation of the embassy, which is the oldest in the world.
On Thursday, the Official State Gazette published the award of a contract to the Italian company Ecotecno Restauri -one of the three companies that entered the tender- to carry out electrical wiring work, installation of electrical accessories and low voltage installations, which were necessary for the proper functioning of the Embassy.
The Spanish diplomatic representation to the Vatican has been located in the former Monaldeschi Palace in Rome’s Piazza Spagna since 1647.
