From 4 to 16 October, under the slogan ‘Nazcas donde nazcas’, the Fundación Anesvad and the Madrid theatre Microteatro (c/Loreto y Chicote, 9) will once again join forces with a programme focused on contributing to the promotion and protection of health, understood as a fundamental human right, and present the 9th edition of the Microteatro Festival ‘Por los demás’, which will host 8 performances in Madrid that will take place in the Microteatro theatre. Likewise, and for the first time, it will also be programmed in the BilboRock space, in Bilbao, on 21 and 22 October.
The title of this year’s cycle, ‘Nazcas donde nazcas donde nazcas’, shows that in a world where there are almost 200 countries, the place of birth should not determine access to universal health care. Over the course of two weeks, healthcare in its different facets will be represented in a humorous way in 15-minute plays.
The programme includes plays such as the comedy Casta y pura. Miss-Ghana-Doras, by Tinoní Creaciones; Iba por buen camino y me perdí, directed by Edgar Costas, and Divinas de la muerte, by Laura Auzmendi. In addition, after the success of previous editions, spectators will have the opportunity to enjoy Bendita sanidad, a comedy written and directed by Nancho Novo, which explores how healthcare has become a luxury; and Enfermera(s): the dangerous game, by Paco Gámez, an interactive video game simulation where the audience will be able to control a nurse in different contexts.
The complete programme and ticket sales will be available soon on the Microteatro website (www.microteatro.es) and at the Microteatro and BilboRock box offices.
