B Travel Xperience (Calle Miguel Ángel, 33) presents tomorrow, Thursday, the exhibition Mother India, which shows very representative works from the career of the photographer Raghu Rai, spanning almost six decades.
In a special tribute to the idea of women and the motherland, the exhibition is a testimony to the emotions and feelings of a people towards their nation, India, which celebrates 75 years since its independence.
Rai is a master of his craft and is closely linked to the emotion of mother India, which is evident in the images and further corroborates his deep involvement and commitment to his chosen subject: the woman, the mother. His emotive images capture the DNA that defines this Indian mother and help to contextualise her in a poignant and contemporary way. The selection of works includes Rai’s characteristic black and white images and some in colour.
