From today until Sunday 25 September, the Austrian duo DEPART (Leonhard Lass & Gregor Ladenhauf) will present their latest immersive audiovisual creation at L.E.V. (Laboratorio de Electrónica Visual) Matadero: The Subject Changes (sound:frame 2022).
As part of a group show around the Metaverse, this installation will offer a live poetic simulation of a restless, constantly shape-shifting character negotiating an ambiguous and ever-evolving world.
Firmly rooted in the digital, the Austrian artists explore the ritualistic character of algorithms and deliberately delve into the mysterious to elaborate unique moments, marked by their formal rigour and aesthetic intensity.
