ICEX Spain Exports and Investments has signed an agreement with the Chinese company PLTFRM to strengthen the promotion of Spanish fashion brands in the Asian giant.
As reported by the Spain-China Council Foundation and ICEX itself, the Spanish public business entity in charge of promoting the internationalization of Spanish companies is going to organize, for the second year, a campaign to promote Spanish fashion brands in the Chinese market through social networks.
The aim of this campaign, which will promote the collections for the fall and winter 2022 season and will take place between October, November and December of this year, is to strengthen the sales of companies already selling in the Asian market and consolidate their international positioning. To this end, a joint promotional campaign has been designed for all Spanish brands, under the slogan Spanish Surprise, on the most relevant Chinese social networks thanks to an agreement with the Chinese company PLTFRM, a communications agency specializing in social networks, with offices in Shanghai and Hong Kong.
The campaign targets Chinese consumers between the ages of 20 and 29. This age range has been chosen as it represents 40% of the Chinese population. They reside mostly in urban areas of the most populous cities, spend 85% of their budget on fashion products and spend an average of seven hours per day viewing content on mobile electronic devices.
This activity is eligible for co-financing from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The campaign is open to all Spanish brands already present in the Chinese market and the deadline for registration to participate in this campaign is September 5.
