On the 29th of July at 19.30 in its multi-purpose hall, Fundación Casa de México presents a recital of the Ensamble Vocal Guadalajara, Mexico, under the direction of Juan Antonio Orozco Hernández.
The Ensemble is made up of primary school teachers and its main objective is to disseminate choral music from Mexico and the world. On their current tour of Spain, they share the music they perform with the intention of promoting friendship and peace between nations. The Ensemble’s delegation that will be present at Fundación Casa de México is made up of 17 choristers, a conductor, an assistant conductor and a master of ceremony.
The Ensemble’s career began in 2018 with two Christmas concerts. In 2019, it participates with two concerts in the city of Oaxaca de Juárez, in the state of Oaxaca, as part of the cultural activities of the Guelaguetza. Other venues in Guadalajara, Mexico, where he has performed include the Templo de Santa Teresa; the parish of Nuestra Señora de Zapopan, the Hugo Argüelles chapel of the Pantaleón Panduro Museum and the Patio del Centro Cultural “El Refugio” in San Pedro Tlaquepaque and the Higinio Ruvalcaba Hall of the Exconvento del Carmen.
