Within the framework of the 1st Cycle of children’s films on the environment, Casa de México will be screening the animated film Salvar el árbol (Save the Tree), directed by Íker Álvarez and Haizea Pastor, on Sunday 3rd June at 12 noon.
Cities are getting bigger and bigger and natural environments are becoming scarce. But this has not always been the case. According to legends, trees, from the moment they blossom until they die, are accompanied by little elves who are their protectors. They live every emotion just like them. Now, however, the trees in the cities are increasingly lost, as are their elves. There is only one way to recover that magic: save the trees.
This cycle is aimed at families with children between 6 and 10 years old. The sessions will be accompanied by mediation activities linking ecology and care for the environment with themes from the Frida Kahlo exhibition. Admission is free and tickets can be purchased at this link.
