The documentary film Municipale, directed by Thomas Paulot, will be screened this evening at 8 p.m. at the Theatre of the Instituto Francés in Madrid. Screening in the original version with Spanish subtitles.
In the small town of Revin, in the Ardennes and in the middle of the municipal campaign, a stranger arrives to present himself as a candidate. This intruder, who is nothing more than an actor, is going to drag the whole town into a political fiction.
Thomas Paulot was born in 1991 in Paris. After studying at Central Saint Martins in London, he attended the ECAL/HEAD master’s programme in Switzerland, where he directed several films, including Stardom and the medium-length film Le Ciel des Bêtes. Tickets can be purchased here.
