Under the slogan Moving forward together as partners, allies, friends, the Embassy of Lithuania celebrates its National Day and the Centenary of diplomatic relations between Spain and Lithuania in an event to be held on Thursday 17 February at 19:00 in collaboration with the Royal Casino of Madrid and the Academy of Diplomacy of the Kingdom of Spain.
Lyra Puišytė-Bostroem, Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania; Raquel Gómez-Cambronero Álvarez, Director General for Western, Central and Southeast Europe of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation; Santiago Velo de Antelo, Executive President of the Academy of Diplomacy of the Kingdom of Spain, will take part in the event; Gerardo Seco Ródenas, Dean of the Board of Directors of the Real Casino de Madrid; Ieva Čekuolytė, designer, sworn translator, social activist, and Alexis Soriano, composer, conductor, artistic director of the New York Opera Society, of Spanish-Lithuanian origin. José Luis Yzaguirre Romero, Academician of the Academy of Diplomacy of the Kingdom of Spain, will coordinate.
