Tomorrow Tuesday, at 10 am, Casa Asia, together with Tourism of Barcelona and the Catalan Tourism Agency, is organising the webinar Tourism 2022: when is China coming back? It will only be possible to follow the event once you have registered for the activity.

Before the pandemic, mainland China was the largest source of tourists for several countries, including Spain; now, the world is waiting for Chinese tourists to return. Chinese travellers are expected to return by 2022, but when? What is the current state of the Chinese market? What will Chinese travellers expect? What should destinations do during that time?

This online session, moderated by Mateo Asensio, director of the Barcelona Tourism Promotion Department, will provide information on updates on the Chinese tourism market and the outlook for 2022. The session will provide the key points to prepare for the return of Chinese tourism in 2022, with the most significant trends and developments in the market. Simultaneous translation into Chinese will be provided.
