Casa de América and Centro Sefarad-Israel are once again organising a film exhibition for Holocaust Remembrance Month, which this year will be devoted to the perspective of justice in the face of the Shoah.
From different points of view and under the title The Holocaust and the Perspective of Justice, three films will offer, from a personal and collective point of view, different approaches to the judicial proceedings after the Second World War. On Friday 21, there will be a presentation of the exhibition and a dialogue before the screening with the director, screenwriter and producer Álvaro Brechner, moderated by Israel Doncel, Director of Communication at the Centro Sefarad-Israel. The 2014 film Kaplan will be screened; on Saturday, the 2008 film The Reader; and on Wednesday 26, the 1961 American film, Judgment at Nuremberg. The screenings will start at 19:00. Numbered tickets will be distributed at the box office of the Information Point (Plaza de Cibeles, s/n) of Casa de América, one hour before the start of the activity.
