Jennie Chu Kheng Yeng, a well-known Singaporean businesswoman, has presented her Copies of Style to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as the city-state’s new ambassador to Spain.
Chua, however, will reside in Singapore, as Singapore does not have an embassy in Spain, although Spain does have an embassy in Singapore. Chua previously served as non-resident ambassador to Slovakia and Mexico, and was appointed to the post in Madrid in October last year.
Known as “The Grand Dame of Singapore”, Jeniie Chua is currently Chairman of Vanguard Healthcare Pte Ltd, the Singapore Film Commission and the Woodlands Health Campus. She is also chairperson of The RICE Company Ltd, a non-profit organisation, and vice-chairperson of Temasek Foundation International.
She holds several decorations and is also a Justice of the Peace of the Republic of Singapore.
