The 14th edition of the Madrid Italian Film Festival returns from 25 November to 2 December with a firm commitment to being present at this new edition, without renouncing the streaming experience in the screening of its feature films, with the aim of making the best Italian cinema accessible to all audiences and also reaching beyond the borders of Madrid.
In this 14th edition, organised by the Instituto Italiano de Cultura of Madrid under the auspices of the Italian Embassy, more than 30 titles will be screened free of charge (prior ticket reservation on the website); 6 short films, 6 documentaries and 9 feature films that will form part of the official sections. All these participating films will be shown in VOSE. This year, the event changes venue and moves to the centrally located Cine Paz, the fourth oldest active cinema in Madrid, which is known for defending the best European cinema, both through its line-up of premieres and its collaborations with festivals.
In addition, at the headquarters of the Instituto Italiano de Cultura, several parallel activities will be held so that audiences of all ages and interests can enjoy Italian cinema. The full programme of the Festival can be consulted at this link.
