Fundación Alternativas and Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung will present the Report 2021 on the State of the European Union: Europe in a period of transition, carried out with the support of the Secretary of State for the European Union, next Monday at 12 noon at the European Commission Headquarters in Spain.
The report will be presented by Diego López Garrido, Executive Vice-President of the Fundación Alternativas, and Luise Rurup, representative of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung in Spain and Portugal, with a special address by Juan González-Barba Pera, Secretary of State for the European Union.
This year’s report is divided into three main blocks: European democracy and the Conference on the Future of Europe; economic recovery and the Next Generation EU recovery funds; and the need to make progress in three areas: foreign policy, the migration and asylum system, and the ‘Europe of health’, the importance of which has been highlighted by the pandemic. It will be possible to attend in person or follow the presentation online. Registration is required by clicking on this link.
