Tomorrow Wednesday at 20:00, the Instituto Francés of Madrid will be previewing the latest film by the French director Pierre Pinaud, The Rose Maker (La fine fleur). Screening in the original version with Spanish subtitles.
Eve (Catherine Frot) used to create the most famous roses in the world, but now she is out of fashion, bitter and with a company on the verge of bankruptcy. Vera (Olivia Côte), her faithful assistant, cannot let what she has been defending all her life simply disappearing and “hires” three people from a social integration programme to avoid falling into the clutches of a greedy businessman in the sector.
