Casa África and Puerta de África jointly launch the Social Innovation Lab 2022 to build a community of entrepreneurs and social activists driven by the commitment to change the realities of their communities, learn to relate as equals and accelerate social change.
This Lab will bring together 12 young emerging leaders: African, Afro-descendant and Spanish, exceptional, from civil society and the private sector, with their own projects that address the most urgent challenges. The objectives of this first group of Ayoka innovators are: Connect: To build a peer-to-peer learning community of social innovators on a shared vision of joint leadership; Research and co-create: at the roots of the most pressing challenges, mapping global solutions and working on a collaborative innovation base to generate solutions applicable to their communities and capacities; and Share: Participating in national and global conferences explaining the innovations they are trying to leverage to inspire more young people and generate a community of change agents.
