On the occasion of Hispanic Heritage Day, the Spanish Embassy in Israel is organising an online concert by the flamenco group Las Migas tomorrow at 6.30 pm, which can be viewed online on the Centro Sefarad-Israel YouTube channel.
Roser Loscos is from Lleida (violin), Marta Robles from Seville (composition and guitar), Alicia Grillo from Córdoba (guitar) and Carolina Fernández “La Chispa” from Mérida (vocals and dance). Four women make up this flamenco group, a musical genre that they fuse with others such as tango, folk and jazz. The result is a style of their own that has even earned them a nomination for a Latin Grammy award.
