From next Friday 17 September at 12 noon, will take place the Great Fair of Entrepreneurship and Colombianity, in the Plazoleta de las Cuatro Torres in Madrid (Paseo de la Castellana, 259), organized by the Central Consulate General of Colombia in Madrid, the Embassy of Colombia in Spain and with the support of Procolombia.
It will be a great day of fair where you can enjoy the talent, flavour and culture of our land, with special guests, musical shows, artists, dances, gastronomy, services and products of businessmen, entrepreneurs and associations of Colombians, with discounts and many more surprises. In addition to being a space for entertainment, meeting and integration among compatriots, this will be a stage to showcase entrepreneurial projects created by Colombians living in Spain, and a national and international showcase of the riches of our country, its culture and its people.
The President of the Republic of Colombia, Iván Duque Márquez, is expected to attend the event as part of his visit to Spain. The Carnival of Barranquilla is also expected to be present at around 11am. The Fair will be attended by the Ambassador, Luis Guillermo Plata Páez, the Consul General, Gloria María Borrero Restrepo, and other Colombian consuls in Spain. Admission to the Fair is completely free. Those wishing to attend should ask for their ticket at the Consulate’s premises located at Calle Alfonso XI, 6, during opening hours (8:30am-1:00pm). In accordance with COVID-19 measures, they must additionally carry a vaccination certificate with a complete vaccination schedule, or PCR 72 hours in advance, or a negative antigen test 48 hours in advance. Admission will be subject to capacity.
