Casa América and the Embassy of Chile echo the exhibition Rincones Geométricos, by Francisco Ubilla, which will be presented at the cultural headquarters of the Plaza de Cibeles from 10 September to 6 November.
This exhibition is a work of street photography that seeks simplicity in urban settings and to show that unnoticed interaction that we have with our surroundings. After all, we are surrounded by geometries and balances that go unnoticed thanks to the rush of our daily lives, and this work is a search for those small, fleeting moments of harmony. The images presented on this occasion have been taken in Chile and Spain, as a proposal of cultural rapprochement between both nations through street photography, a more leisurely and colourful one, where we can see how the forms of the city interact with people and how, in just a few moments of precision, visual harmonies can be created that could perfectly be in any corner of a neighbourhood, both in Chile and in Spain. The opening will take place on 9 September at 19:00. Free admission until full capacity is reached.
