K-POP is a genre of music that has achieved great acceptance among the followers of the new currents of this style of pop, and which has a growing number of fans in Spain, since it became fashionable around the world in the late nineties and with new records reached on the social network YouTube by various artists such as BTS or Rosé. South Korean pop is influenced by Western styles, such as pop, hip hop, EDM, rock and R&B, and has even managed to sneak into the major music awards, with the group BTS winning a Grammy nomination at last year’s Grammy Awards in 2020.
