Iberdrola’s board of directors has approved the appointment as general secretary, following a favourable report from the Appointments Committee, of Santiago Martínez Garrido, the company informed the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV).
Martínez Garrido, deputy secretary non-director of Iberdrola since 2015, is the current director of the energy company’s Legal Services. In addition, the new general secretary of Iberdrola’s board of directors holds directorships in subsidiaries Avangrid and Neoenergia, reports Europa Press.
