The Diplomat
The architect and designer Ludovica Serafini (pictured) will give a conference at the Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Madrid – COAM (Calle Hortaleza, 63) this evening at 7 p.m. on Project and Matter, on the occasion of Italian Design Day, which Italian embassies and consulates celebrate around the world every year. The Italian ambassador, Riccardo Guariglia, will also take part in the event.
The speaker will address issues related to sustainability, and objects made by the designer will be on display. Design is one of the priorities of MAECI’s promotional activities within the framework of “Vivere all’italiana”, which brings together initiatives related to cuisine, language, the Italian museum system, cinema, contemporary art, universities and scientific research.
The initiatives that will take place tomorrow around the world are also designed to inform about the upcoming Milan Triennale International Exhibition that will take place in the Lombard city from 20 May to 20 November 2022 and will be entitled: Unknown Unknowns. An Introduction to Mysteries.
